A foundation dedicated to supporting the sport and its amazing athletes, from the neighborhood cul-de-sac to the Olympic podium.
The USA Cycling Foundation (USACF) is the non-profit 510(c)(3) arm of USA Cycling that raises money to support U.S. National and Olympic athletes (plus coaches, mechanics, and soigneurs) in all disciplines of competitive cycling through athlete development programs, race and travel fees, and foundation grants.
Developing world-class athletes takes significant resources, so most competitive Olympic countries receive government funding—yet we’re the only major industrialized nation without this benefit. It’s a significant challenge to raise funds ourselves to develop elite American athletes and achieve international success against the best cyclists in the world. As such, our unwavering mission relies on donations from corporations, foundations, and generous individuals like you.
We fund USA Cycling’s National Development Programs and are committed to supporting our nation’s young athletes as they pursue their Olympic dreams in all five cycling disciplines.
We award over $80,000 each year through several grant and scholarship programs for athletes and teams pursuing international excellence in cycling. 100% of the gifts to these programs are distributed to athletes via annual awards.
